Nearly 200,000 auto accidents occur in the greater Atlanta area every year, resulting in approximately 70,000 injuries. Many accident victims do not realize that they may be entitled to compensation, especially if they have been seriously injured. Having handled thousands of Atlanta auto accident and personal injury cases, our attorneys can determine whether you have a viable case and, if so, see it through to a successful conclusion. If you believe you might have a case, we invite you to schedule an appointment to speak with one of our attorneys. Your initial consultation will be free, and our payment is contingent, meaning that if we don’t win your case, we don’t get paid.

Taxi vs. Pedestrian Accident – $1,064,105

Our client was walking across a street in Decatur, Georgia after exiting a MARTA bus.  While many vehicles stopped behind the bus, the taxi driver attempted to pass the MARTA bus in a turning lane and struck our client.  Our client sustained broken bones in both of his legs requiring the insertion of pins and screws.

The driver of the taxi carried only $25,000 in insurance.  The Atlanta pedestrian and car accident attorneys at Zevin & Rosenbloum sent a demand to the insurance company for the full $25,000 policy limits.  The insurance company was given 30 days to pay the policy limits.  When the policy limits were not paid in 30 days, our Atlanta trial lawyers filed a lawsuit in Dekalb County State Court and eventually received a verdict for our client in the amount of $1,064,105.
